We are excited to announce a new chapter for the New York Lithuanian Professionals Club — one that builds on the strong foundation of the past while bringing fresh energy, new ideas, and more opportunities for meaningful connection within our community.

After serving the Club as President, Natalija Daubarė is stepping down from her leadership role. We are deeply grateful for Natalija’s tremendous support of the NYLP Club and for her belief in its mission.

She generously opened the doors of Narbutas for our meetings, took time to meet and speak with professionals seeking guidance, and consistently encouraged new business ideas and community initiatives. We are proud to have been led by such an inspiring person and are especially glad that she will remain involved and continue supporting the Club.

We also thank all Board members for their dedication, vision, and the strong foundation they have laid for NYLP.

In this new chapter, The New York Lithuanian Professionals Club is reaffirming its co-chair leadership model and will be led by Sondra Litvaitytė, who has served as Co-Chair since March 2025 and will continue in this role, joined by Aura Taylor as the Club’s new Co-Chair.

Over the past year, Sondra has played an active role in expanding NYLP through events, collaborations, communications, and member engagement. Aura joined the Board under Natalja and Sondra’s leadership and contributed to shaping the club’s vision, values, and future direction.

Together, Sondra and Aura are excited to continue growing NYLP as a vibrant, welcoming, and ambitious network for Lithuanian professionals and creatives in New York. As the club evolves, they hope to introduce a more dynamic and conversational approach to community-building — creating spaces where people can genuinely connect, exchange ideas, collaborate, and inspire one another.

Most importantly, we want to hear from you. Whether you have ideas for events, partnerships, initiatives, or ways to get more involved, we would love to connect. NYLP thrives because of its members, and we want this community to continue feeling supportive, exciting, forward-thinking, and alive.

As part of this new chapter, alongside our more structured professional programming, we are especially excited to reintroduce Social Hour — NYLP initiative, designed to become a consistent monthly gathering for our community.

Social Hour will focus on relaxed conversations, networking, and discovering exciting venues across New York City. Think inspiring spaces, interesting people, great energy, and the kind of conversations that spark new friendships, collaborations, and ideas.

We warmly invite you to join us for our next Social Hour on May 28th from 6:30–8:30 PM at Everdene inside Virgin Hotels New York, 1227 Broadway, New York, NY 10001.

Please RSVP here.

We hope Social Hour becomes the new go-to gathering for Lithuanian professionals, a place to reconnect, meet new people, and help shape the NYLP Club together.
