The New York Lithuanian Professionals Club continued its tradition of partnering with fellow Lithuanian organizations in New York for the annual Run for Freedom.

The list of organizations may be long, but at the end of the day, we are one Lithuanian community. What matters most is seeing how many people show up, stand together, and care about the values and Lithuanian heritage we share.

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Consulate General of Lithuania in New York. Thank you to the Consulate and Consul General Dovydas Špokauskas for bringing everyone together and continuing this important tradition.

A special thank-you to our NYLP members who joined us today. Many of you are also active in other Lithuanian organizations, and we are so happy that you came and represented NYLP too. The more, the merrier!

Thank you also to all the organizations that were part of this major Lithuanian gathering in New York: the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in New York, Lithuanian American Community – New York District, New York Lithuanian Community, Maironis Lithuanian School of New York, New York Lithuanian Athletic Club, Neringa and Tauras Scout Troops, Church of the Annunciation in New York, Lithuanian Alliance of America (SLA), New York Lithuanian Amateur Theater, Lithuanian National Foundation, and Tryptinis.

And congratulations to all the young runners from Maironis Lithuanian School — we hope to see many of you in NYLP one day!
