NYLP Club July Social Hour

Our July New York Lithuanian Professionals Club Social Hour brought us together at Tavern on the Green, one of New York City's most iconic restaurants in the heart of Central Park, recognized from films such as Ghostbusters, Wall Street, Arthur, and Mr. Popper's Penguins.

It was the perfect setting for another relaxed summer evening with fellow Lithuanian professionals.

What started as a simple idea—to create an informal space where Lithuanian professionals could meet beyond formal events—is clearly gaining momentum and, judging by the turnout, our members seem to enjoy the format. 

This month we welcomed a wonderful mix of familiar faces, new members, and guests visiting from Lithuania, making the conversations even more diverse.

Over drinks, we somehow managed to cover everything—from summer travel stories and weekend plans to career changes, AI, startups, books, and life in New York. That's exactly what makes these evenings special. There is no agenda, no presentations, and no pressure—just genuine conversations that often lead to new friendships, collaborations, and ideas.

Our next Social Hour is already around the corner. Save the date – August 20. We'll be exploring a new venue and welcoming special guests from Lithuania, so stay tuned for more details.
