NYLP | What's On in New York & What's Next for Our Club
Dear NYLP Members and Friends,
From catching up over drinks and discovering New York's Off-Broadway scene to cheering together at a soccer game, we have plenty of reasons to get together!
We're also working behind the scenes on a few initiatives to make our professional community more connected, accessible, and useful to its members.
Here's what's happening at NYLP and what's coming next.

NEW AT NYLP

One of the greatest strengths of NYLP is the diversity of professional experience within our community. We have members working across finance, technology, law, architecture, business, creative industries, manufacturing, and many other fields.
But how do we make it easier for people working in similar industries to find one another?
We're preparing to launch NYLP Circles, a new initiative that will connect our registered members in smaller, industry-based groups.
Here's how it will work:
We will organize registered NYLP members into groups based on their professional industries.
You will first receive a private email introducing your proposed Circle, with recipients' addresses hidden.
You will have time to opt out or request to be added to or moved to a different Circle.
After the response period, members who have agreed to participate will receive a group introduction sharing participants' names, email addresses, and companies.
What happens next is up to each Circle!
You might exchange industry insights, share professional opportunities, organize a small gathering, propose a new initiative for the wider NYLP community, or simply get to know fellow professionals in your field.
Our goal is to make NYLP's professional network more accessible and useful, while allowing each group to develop naturally.
Look out for your NYLP Circles invitation soon!

Never miss what's happening in our community! We've created a shared calendar to bring together Lithuanian cultural events, business gatherings, professional networking opportunities, and community activities across New York — all in one place.
Know of an event we should include? Send it our way at info@nylpclub.com! And if you'd like to volunteer to help coordinate and update the calendar, raise your hand!
BEHIND THE SCENES AT NYLP
We're Making NYLP Official!
NYLP is taking another important step: we're working toward becoming an officially registered nonprofit organization.
This will help us establish a stronger foundation for the Club and create new opportunities for partnerships, collaboration, and future projects.
And here's where we could use some professional expertise from our community.
We're looking for attorneys or legal professionals familiar with nonprofit incorporation, governance, and tax-exempt status — or anyone who could introduce us to a law firm with a pro bono program supporting nonprofits.
Even an initial consultation or a helpful introduction would mean a great deal.
Can you help? Write to us at info@nylpclub.com.
Have an Idea? Get Involved!
NYLP is built around the people who participate in it. Whether you have an idea for an event, a professional connection to share, a project to propose, or simply want to lend a hand, we'd love to hear from you.
And of course, we hope to see you at one of our upcoming gatherings!
Warmly,
Sondra&Aura
