For the sixth year in a row, the New York Lithuanian Professionals Club (NYLP) proudly joined the North American Lithuanian Business Forum (NALBF) — an annual event fostering robust business connections between Lithuania and North America.

This year in Boston, the Forum brought together nearly 300 business leaders, investors, scientists, and innovators from Lithuania, the US, Canada, and Mexico. With the patronage of President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, and Governor of Massachusetts, Maura Healey, discussions centered on strategic collaborations within Life Sciences, Defense & Dual Use, ICT, and Creative Industries — exploring the power of public–private–academia partnerships.

For NYLP, this year’s Forum was especially active and rewarding. Many of our members traveled to Boston to take part, while a number of Boston participants later came to New York to meet our community — a strong reflection of the ties we are building across cities.

Our Co-Chair, Sondra Litvaitytė, contributed as part of the Creative Industries team and had the honor of co-hosting the Forum’s main session alongside Geraldas Kasulis.

Highlights included the outstanding keynote by Prof. Vladimir Bulović (MIT.nano) on the future of energy, innovation, and patience, as well as an inspiring conversation between Prof. Vladas Algirdas Bumelis and Monika Paulė, exploring biotech, entrepreneurship, and lessons learned from global experience.

The NALBF began in 2019 with a shared goal: to unite Lithuanian American professionals and Lithuania’s diplomatic network into Team Lithuania—collaborating to strengthen economic ties and global opportunities for Lithuania. After a virtual debut in 2021 due to the pandemic, the Forum held its first in-person gathering in 2022 in Philadelphia, bringing together over 200 participants for a day of networking, dialogue, and idea exchange. Since then, it has grown into a premier platform connecting innovators, creators, professionals, entrepreneurs, and changemakers from both sides of the Atlantic. With successful editions in Philadelphia (2022), Chicago (2023), and New York (2024), the Forum continues to expand its reach—building lasting partnerships and shaping the future of Lithuanian–North American collaboration.

For us at the NYLP Club, the NALBF is more than just a conference — it is a bridge between communities. It is a place where science, business, and creativity converge, where connections lead to action, and where Lithuanians around the world reaffirm their shared values, roots, and ambitions.

We are grateful to be part of this growing tradition and look forward to continuing our active partnership in the years ahead. 💛💚❤️
