The 9th New York Baltic Film Festival is coming!

November 5–8, 2026 | Scandinavia House, 58 Park Avenue, NYC

One of the highlights of our Lithuanian and Baltic cultural calendar in New York! We can be proud that this festival is happening right here in NYC and introducing Baltic cinema to an ever-growing American audience!

But for it to continue and grow, it needs US! Our audience, our support, our reviews, and our engagement.

How can you help? Buy a ticket, make a donation, spread the word, invite a friend (especially a non-Lithuanian one!), invite a film critic, or treat yourself to a VIP pass! Plenty of ways to support it. Choose yours!

NYLP is definitely supporting the festival, and we'll be there!

This year's program highlights three remarkable Baltic women: Irena Veisaitė in Giedrė Žickytė's A Goodnight Kiss, Latvian basketball legend Uļjana Semjonova in Ulya, and Estonian Olympic cyclist Erika Salumäe in Our Erika.

And don't miss Lithuanian director Ignas Jonynas' Borderline or Aistė Žegulytė's Holy Destructors! We encourage you to see all the Lithuanian films, but stay for the Latvian and Estonian ones too. You won't regret it!

And here's another reason to see more than one film: the special five-film package for just $65! ($45 for ASF members.)

And for the DJs among our NYLP members — and, of course, for all of us — there's something special: Lithuanian film composer and DJ Gediminas Jakubka at the festival's Afterglow: Music & Mingle and Meet the Directors on November 6, at the New York Estonian House, 234 East 34th, New York, NY.

So clear your calendar for November 5–8, bring your friends, and enjoy a weekend of Baltic cinema!

And please, don't be lazy! ;) So many people work tirelessly to make what sometimes seems impossible happen — bringing these films, filmmakers, and conversations right to our doorstep.

All we have to do is hop on the subway, settle into a comfortable seat at Scandinavia House, watch a great film, meet the people behind it, and perhaps enjoy lunch at the restaurant. How much more convenient could it get?

See you there!
