NYLP Club Networking Series: Golf Edition with the Consulate General of Lithuania

Updated: Sep 14

In June, we picked up golf clubs and learned how to swing alongside the amazing team from the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in New York and fellow members of the New York Lithuanian Professionals Club.

The setting couldn’t have been better — a golden sunset over the Hudson, great company, lively conversations, and plenty of shared stories, ideas, and laughter. After just an hour of swings at the Chelsea Piers driving range, it felt like we’d known each other for years. No wonder golf — one of the world’s oldest organized sports — is known as the sport of friendship and influence.

We are especially grateful to Consul General Dovydas Spokauskas and the entire Consulate team for this inspiring initiative, their generous support, and their continued partnership with the NYLP Club. This event is a wonderful example of how institutions and communities can come together to foster meaningful connections.

And of course, a huge thank-you to our engaged and curious NYLP Club members who joined us and made the evening so special.

We can’t wait to tee off again for round two — and we hope this is just the beginning of a beautiful new tradition.
